Department of Cardiovascular and Thorasic Surgery (CUTS)
A 38 Year male case of rheumatic heart disease was operated for double valve replacement on 07-10-2020. Patient was on elective ventilation in ICU and was extubated on same night. He was managed in ICU and Ward subsequently and was discharged on 12-10-2020 after full recovery. Our cardiac surgery team was led by Dr. Asrar Qadri and anaesthesia team led by Dr. Showkat Ahmad and ICU team led by Dr. Syed Faisal Andrabi and Dr. Natiq Yaqoob(ICU Physiotherapist) and other nursing staff members led by , Mr. Hilal Ahmad Mir and Mr. Mudasir Ahmad Khanday.
