Dr. Araf Ali is an Ophthalmologist specializing in diseases of the retina. While her primary focus lies in retinal conditions, she also manages a broad range of vision-related ailments. She completed her MBBS at GMC Srinagar and her Ophthalmology training at SKIMS Medical College. Dr. Araf pursued a Phaco Fellowship at Mahindra Eye Institute, Kanpur, and a fellowship in Retinal diseases at Shroff Eye Centre, New Delhi, where she gained extensive experience in treating various retina-related disorders. Her expertise includes treating diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, as well as age-related macular degeneration (ARMD). Dr. Araf Ali is skilled in OCT, angiography, laser treatment for retinal abnormalities, as well as performing cataract surgeries and other extraocular procedures.
